Each member of our congregation is being helped to understand the vision, the call and the mission of sharing God's love in Jesus Christ with all people, so that God is glorified and people are saved eternally.

“Rooted and Growing in Christ,
Caring and Sharing in Life for Eternity.”
~
Congregational Core Virtues
1) Worship
Every member of St. Peter’s, in joyful response to God’s gifts of Word and the Sacraments, gathers each week in worship to praise God and to grow in faith for daily living as a child of God.
(Psalm 119:33-37; Hebrews 10:19-25)
2) Education
St. Peter’s educates every member through God’s Word, so that each continues to grow in faith and applying God’s Word to life, and is equipped to offer Christian Care and witness to others.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-2:3)
3) Discipleship
St. Peter’s supports, encourages, and equips every member to use their God-given gifts (time, abilities, financial resources), to build up the body of Christ, and to carry out God’s work of care, outreach, and missions.
(Ephesians 4:16; Romans 12:9-16)
4) Christian Care
Every member of St. Peter’s joyfully cares for others so that each person knows God’s love in
Jesus Christ, receives loving care in every bodily need, and experiences a saving relationship
with God, now and for all eternity.
(Galatians 6:2, 9-10; 1 Peter 4:8-11)
5) Outreach
Every member of St. Peter’s in their daily life lives out and shares the good news of God’s love in Jesus so that lives are changed now and for eternity through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
(Acts 26:15-18; Matthew 5:14-16; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
6) Missions
St. Peter’s, responding to Christ’s call “to make disciples of all nations”, involves every member in supporting Gospel outreach in our area, our state, our nation, and the world, through their active participation, financial giving, personal involvement, and prayer.
