Thank you for considering St. Peter’s Lutheran School!

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you will make in the life of your child. Your child will be profoundly influenced by the teachers and program to whom you entrust him or her. Selecting a school that will reinforce your values about education, life in this world, and life eternal is absolutely vital. We’re so glad you’re exploring how St. Peter’s Lutheran School could successfully partner with you.

Enrolling a student at St. Peter’s is as simple as 1… 2… 3…4

1. Complete and Submit Enrollment Paperwork

All required forms are available for download at the bottom of this webpage. The K-8 Enrollment Application and Covenant Forms should be downloaded, printed, filled out, and returned to the school (forms are also available in the school office).
Families applying for enrollment in Grades 1-8 are also asked to submit a copy of their child(ren)’s most recent Report Card and Standardized Testing.

2. Meet with the Principal

After your completed paperwork has been received, we will contact you to schedule an interview with the principal. This interview is a time of sharing; with parents expressing what they are seeking for their child and the principal relating what our school offers and seeks to accomplish for children and their families. The interview typically lasts 20-30 minutes. If at the end of this meeting, both the school and parent(s) still feel confident that St. Peter’s is the right place for the child, applicants move on to Step 3 below.

3. Student Meets with Principal and May be Asked to Complete Entrance Exam

Each applying student meets with the principal for a “getting to know you” interview and possible entrance placement testing. The purpose of the testing is to gain additional insight into the current achievement level of each child, which is shared with both the classroom teachers and the parents. This allows us to identify academic areas of potential difficulty for the prospective student so that proper support and assistance may be provided, while areas of exceptional strength may be challenged to encourage even further growth.

4. Enrollment Determination is Shared

The school office will contact you as soon as possible concerning an enrollment decision. Upon acceptance, a Registration Fee is due for all K-8 applicants (see current rates and financial policies).
Enrollment is not finalized, nor is a seat reserved in a classroom, until the fee has been received by the school office.
